Prayer for Comfort

One of the things we are most thankful for in our journey is God’s presence with us — even on the difficult days. Jesus is Emmanuel and loves to comfort us along our journeys. This prayer for comfort is something we’ve prayed for you, and we hope that you are able to find exactly what you need in the Father’s arms today.

A PRAYER FOR COMFORT

Father, we thank You and praise You that You are the God of all comfort. You have felt every sorrow, every pain, and every loss. You are intimately acquainted with all of our ways, and You know what we are feeling now.

Meet us right here in this moment and fill us with your divine comfort. With your all-knowing, ever-present Spirit that meets us where we need it most.

Your Spirit with us gives us exactly what is needed in our pain. Remind us that we are not alone, that You are walking with us through every moment, and that you will be there in the moments to come. You are Emmanuel, God with us, and you will not let us go.

Your compassionate heart carries us out of the depths and into Your great love. Fill us anew with Your hope and Your abundant life. Remind us of the hope and joy set before us in Your promises. Sustain us with Your words and Your presence.

Thank you, God, for Your goodness and the way that You speak to each of our hearts. We love you. Amen.
